overnight parkingMake the Broyhill Equestrian Preserve your base for “Riding the Blue Ridge”

Day parking is available at Broyhill Equestrian Preserve for $10.00 per day for each van or trailer.  Enjoy a safe area to park, groom and and tack up before heading for the 27 miles of carriage roads in the Moses Cone Memorial Park.  Restrooms  and drink machines are also readily available.  Check in at the office when you arrive to pick up your parking permit.  We are closed to day parking and to campers during our three weeks of summer horse shows, so please be sure to check our calendar of events or call us for those dates when we cannot provide these services.  As always, spectators are welcome during those times.

Negative coggins documentation is required prior to off loading your horse.

If you plan to stable your horse with us overnight the following information will be useful to you.

The Broyhill Equestrian Preserve asks that you arrive at the facility and check in before 5 p.m. on the day you intend to arrive. This will insure that we have time to get you properly settled before the office closes.

For reservations, please CALL us at 828-295-4700. This may take a few tries but is always best to talk to a live person.  Voice mail or e-mail messages do not guarantee a reservation nor can we guarantee a timely returned call due to the high volume of contacts we received each day.  While we have 450 stalls available for overnight stabling we can only accommodate 35 campers.  During peak weekends and holidays our camp sites fill up quickly.  Please call early to make your reservations.  We’ll be happy to tell you what kind of experience you might expect.

Camp sites are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Once you check in, you may pick any open space that is available.  Whether horse, rider, or driver, it is our goal that each visitor to the Preserve have a positive experience.

Please call 828-295-4700 or e-mail info@blowingrockhorses.com .  We’ll answer your questions and do our best to make you stay a pleasant and memorable one.

Please note that the facility is closed to campers and day parking during our three summer horse shows.  However, spectators and exhibitors are always welcome during Horse Show Weeks.
